REFLECTION ON STUDENTS OF ASHRAM

Since many weeks, students of ashram are learning under my guidance. I have taught them many topics of different subjects such as Hindi poem, math lesson, English grammar etc. I have been teaching two students since the beginning of the task, Bhushan and Sandeep. Both have been great learners throughout the learning session. For this class my supervisor was Vijayalaxmi madam.

This time when I went, one of my students was not present, he went to his hometown. So I taught geometry to Sandeep. When I was teaching to him, I realized that lot many things he is able to do which he was unable to do before learning under my guidance. Earlier he was unable to do proper division, calculation of area and volume. This time when I introduced the math lesson and gave him the formula of rectangle so he himself was able to solve question. The best thing I liked about him was that I did not explain the question as he was trying on his own to understand.

The learning outcome is that I become aware that proper and regular guidance helps the student a lot in learning concepts. I have observed that Sandeep is not a student who believes in learning without understanding instead he has developed an attitude of understanding first and then learning it.
For upcoming task, I have planned a test on a math lesson, profit and loss. Which I have taught to both, Sandeep and Bhushan. The following table consists of the questions that I will ask them in upcoming class.

INSTRUCTOR- Trisha Gupta

SUBJECT OF LESSON

A test will be conducted on the lesson, profit and loss. This lesson, I have taught them thoroughly and they have done enough practice to answer a test.  This test will check their skills which they have gained while learning this lesson such as how to use formula and how to calculate the profit or loss  and how to use given data for solving paticular question or problem.

INSTRUCTIONAL AIDS, MATERIALS, OR TOOLS NEEDED

1. They need to answer all the questions of the test. They are supposed to show they working of the problem the main paper.

2. Materials needed are blank paper, pen, pencil .
